Clove, Pecan and Chocolate Chip Cookies


These little beauties are so tasty, as a special treat if you need a little sweetness on a tough day. Full of whole food goodness, they are the perfect partner to a steaming mug of green tea.



2 ½ cup ground almonds

½ teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ cup rapeseed oil

½ cup cold pressed honey (this can be reduced slightly depending on your preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

50 grams dark chocolate

½ cup pecans

¼ teaspoon ground cloves

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon



In a large bowl, combine almond flour, salt and baking soda, cloves and cinnamon.

In a medium bowl combine rapeseed oil, honey and vanilla. Crush chocolate and pecans into small chunks with a pestle and mortar. Stir wet ingredients into the almond flour mixture until thoroughly combined.

Fold in chocolate and pecans.

Spoon dough 1  tablespoon at a time onto a lined baking sheet, pressing down with the palm of your hand to flatten.


Bake at 160°c for 7 to 10 minutes, until lightly golden.


Cool cookies on the baking sheets for 20 minutes, then serve
