Harnessing the Power of an Optimal Daily Routine to Boost Health, Wellbeing and Vitality

 

Living in balance and accordance with the body’s inbuilt natural rhythms, called the Circadian Rhythm, has been labelled the new frontier of preventative medicine and may have the capacity to radically change the very way in which we view and understand both medicine and the human body. 


However, the fast-paced 24-hour culture we experience here in the West makes honouring our body’s natural rhythms far more challenging that nature intended. Living in disconnect with our Circadian Rhythms is called Chrono-Disruption, a state of existence that is being clinically linked to a whole raft of medical conditions including heart disease, mood disorders, sleep disturbances, depression, diabetes and cancer to name a few.


The good news is that reconnecting with our body’s natural rhythms doesn’t require wholesale changes to the way we live our lives. Rather, with some small but incredibly powerful modifications to our daily routines and behaviours, we have the capacity to not only reduce our risk factors for a whole raft of diseases but to elevate us to a higher plane of physical, psychological and emotional health and wellbeing. 


Over the course of this interactive half-day workshop, join Dr Sam Watts as he overviews:

 

  • The science of the Circadian Rhythm and its fundamental importance to health, wellbeing and longevity.

  • The importance of re-perceiving ourselves as a part of nature and natures cycles and how aligning ourselves with nature like every other mammal on the plant affords us the blueprint for optimal living.

  • How to structure an optimal morning routine which contains evidence-based, clinically proven techniques that boost immunity, reduce stress and flood the body with feel-good hormones to leave us feeling happy, healthy and empowered for the rest of the day.

  • How to structure our dietary behaviours and routines to allow for optimal digestion and nutrient assimilation to ensure the body receives the nutrient protection needs to keep us healthy

  • How to embed an optimal evening routine that allows us to shed the stresses and strains of the day and enter into deep calm and relaxation to ensure a deep and replenishing nights sleep.

  • Learn how to integrate a variety of simple daily techniques, behaviours and herbal products in the form of medicated baths and tonics to keep our physical, psychological and emotional selves in optimal condition to preserve health and reduce disease risk factors.
