Start the Weekend with Wellness
Every Saturday morning in August
In Ayurvedic medicine, the morning is a revered time of the day. By starting the day correctly with a variety of simple self-care approaches, it is possible to optimise physical, immunological, emotional and psychological health and wellbeing. Crucially, the modern Western evidence based science is increasingly supporting this approach.
In August we will be starting the Weekend with Wellness, which has been developed to provide those looking to maximise their health and well being with a quick and effective programme for tapping into the benefits of an optimal morning routine.
The 1.5 hour sessions will begin at 7.30am every Saturday morning in August and will include:
An initial welcome discussion in a beautiful harbour side location
A 30-40 minute walk in a location in the Chichester area, to kick start the metabolism and flood the body with feel good hormones
A 20-minute outdoor meditation utilising Forest Bathing techniques to boost immunity and de-stress
A health boosting wholefoods alfresco breakfast with tea and coffee to saturate the body with potent micro-nutrients and a brief overview of time tested Ayurvedic techniques for “optimal living” to empower how we live.
We will finish at around 9am, energised, calm and empowered, ready to enjoy the rest of the weekend in optimised health and well-being.
Week 1: Sat 5th Aug - Appledram to Dell Quay
Meeting at the carpark for St Mary the Virgin, Church Road, off Appledram Lane South, Chichester, PO20 7EF.
Week 2: Sat 12th Aug - The Trundles
Meeting at Seven Points Carpark, Chalkpit Lane, West Dean (approach the carpark from the Kennel Hill side)
Week 3: Sat 19th Aug - Sidlesham Harbour
Meeting at the Sidlesham Harbour, Mill Lane, Sidlesham (near Crab and Lobster Pub)
Week 4: Sat 26th Aug - West Stoke
Meeting at the West Stoke Carpark, West Stoke (near Kingley Vale Nature Reserve)
What to bring: Please bring a mug, water bottle and appropriate clothing.
Booking: Please pre-book for catering purposes.
Cost: £15.00 per session or £45:00 for all four weeks.
